You mention that Scotland continues to publish wastewater monitoring and link to the dashboard, but reporting has been paused since 30 July, allegedly while responsibility for it was (unfathomably) transferred from SEPA to NHS Lothian. I believe reporting was intended to recommence at the end of September, but as far as I can tell it hasn't done so.

This is a horrible gap in our understanding of the current state of the pandemic.

It's certainly not ideal and I don't know why reporting of wastewater levels of Covid didn't restart at the end of September as promised. As soon as it returns I will include in my report.

Thank you so much for these reports again. If Covid can impact major organs in any age group is there any data available suggesting any increase for example in brain, heart disease etc resulting from the virus?

You may already have seen it but there was a recent paper in the Lancet that provides some details on the impact of Covid on major organs for some people. Link to the paper is here:
