Betacoronavirus pandemicum commonly known as COVID-19 is a leading cause of common cold. It is primarily a summer virus but can also occur frequently throughout the year.

The proportion is higher because of flu decrease. Actual number of cases may not be higher. In fact, actual number of cases in summer is likely lower than in winter despite Betacoronavirus pandemicum not being a winter virus.

The report is from hospital cases. Not a proportion. There is a real.imcrease in covid infections .hopefully the new vaccinations control it or we are headed for trouble.

It could be. Flu A + B reduces incidence of Betacoronavirus pandemicum. If flu A + B decreases, then more people get infected with Betacoronavirus pandemicum.

Looks like RFK Jr. won't update the kung flu shot this year. If true, the kung flu shot will have poor effectiveness for the autumn season booster campaign in the UK. Note that kung flu is not a true flu considering it's a strain of Betacoronavirus pandemicum.

With the continuing decline of flu A and B, kung flu which is a strain of Betacoronavirus pandemicum continues to inch its way back up. Although I doubt kung flu will make another wave like last year due to high population immunity by now.
